I must begin this post by directing you immediately to ayuna.co as I cannot do justice to this wonderful brand and its incredible and thoughtful skincare.

If you’ve decided to stick around for my ramblings (thank you) I’ll do my best to give you a snapshot of Ayuna, a beautifully immersive brand that I have fallen in love with.

I coveted Ayuna after seeing their gorgeousness on Kasia’s @madaboutbeauty stunning Instagram feed. So, when I won a collaborative giveaway between the lovely Kasia and Ayuna I was thrilled. And wow, just wow, I haven’t been disappointed. I am well and truly smitten.

My prize included Nourishing Artisan Soap, Cream, The Facial Low and a dojo ceramic aroma disc, which I’ve carried around like a comfort toy.

Ayuna is committed to solid cosmetics, a natural option that is beneficial to both our skin and the environment. I love this but having not used soap on my face in decades I was a little apprehensive. I need not have been, this soap is something else. It lathers beautifully and leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, hydrated and clean.

SOAP’s ultra-soft and creamy lather purifies, detoxifies and nourishes the skin thanks to its unique combination of Borage, Olive and Coconut oil, plus Activated Carbon.

Simplify your beauty regime. CREAM takes the place of a serum, face & neck treatment, and eye contour cream.

CREAM incorporates Phyto-peptidic Fractions from Turmeric Root and Centella, and Plasmas rich in Botanical Cell Factors from Green Carrot, Arabian Cotton and Pomegranate.

Once used never forgotten, this is everything I wanted Creme de la Mer to be and so much more. Its comforting yet light with the most beautiful fragrance. It truly is a stand-alone product.

A powder-in-lotion concentrate that visually transforms the skin by improving both its feel and appearance. Daily use of this colloidal acid system optimizes your complete facial beauty routine; it aids in balancing the skin’s microbiota, evens the complexion, promotes a natural glow and maintains skin health.

I didn’t know what to expect from The Facial, but it really is a unique and clever product. The fragrance is slightly unusual but this soon dissipates. It is gentle with no irritation just clear, bright, skin the next day.

I couldn’t love Ayuna’s ethos more if I tried.

less is beauty

The best beauty routine is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away. We are committed to simplifying beauty – to nourishing the skin with precision by providing only the fundamental and basic ingredients needed to achieve maximum performance.

Isn’t this incredible? What’s not to love? Ayuna offers skin more (and trust me it really does) with less. Fewer products, less packaging and less waste. Ayuna is an indie brand that cares deeply about your skin and the environment. Ayuna is mindful, clean, sensorial and sustainable.

And before I close and if I didn’t love this brand enough:

Anti-aging implies an intrinsic war against aging. AYUNA • Less Is Beauty dares to disrupt this mindset and replaces it with WELL•AGING, a modern and integrated approach to beauty which embraces a lifestyle that promotes aging gracefully.  The result is a visible improvement in skin texture, wrinkles, redness, elasticity & dark spots.

I can add no more.
