Midlife often represents a period of change; it’s an opportunity to reassess priorities, set new goals, and make choices that promote overall health and wellness.
Eating a well-balanced diet takes on added significance during the perimenopause and beyond. It’s important to eat nutrient-rich foods, such as fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. Regular physical activity is essential for maintaining a healthy lifestyle during midlife. Engage in exercise you enjoy, whether it’s brisk walking, swimming, yoga, or strength training.
